6 weeks online series: on Wednedays: October 19th and 23rd, November 2nd / 9th / 16th and 23rd 2022
“We all belong, we are all healing, and we are all welcome in our wholeness.”
This series of workshops is to help those suffering from pain to start to find their own way into healing. With compassion and kindness Madeline offers a safe space for participants to explore gentle movement and stillness both alone and with the support of the group.
In her work, Madeline draws on dance movement therapy, mindfulness practices like simple breath meditation and body-mind work such as the Alexander Technique to help guide participants.
Teacher: Madeline Solomon MA, PDDS
Madeline has been using creative arts therapies as a healing tool for clients from infants to seniors both individually and in group settings for the past 15 years (92nd St Y, JCC). She has worked across a range of populations including children with special needs and seniors with dementia. Her DMT training and MA in Psychology from Oxford University richly informs her work as does her experience as a performer, musician, artist and puppeteer and her sensitivity, curiosity, and warmth.
