Specialized Training: Laban / Bartenieff / Kestenberg (140 hrs)

01. August 2025

The Laban Bartenieff Movement System and the Kestenberg Movement Profile based on it are central methods in dance therapy. They are used for movement assessment, movement observation and interventions. These systems make it possible to record not only movement development, but also personality development in terms of motor skills, expression and attachment behavior. Targeted dance therapy interventions can thus be carried out.

Basic knowledge of the Laban Bartenieff movement system is required for specialized further training in this area. If you are unsure whether your previous knowledge is sufficient, please contact us. If you would like to learn the basics, we offer the course “Laban Bartenieff Movement System I: Self-reflection”.
